A 15-year-old{}cold case{}is heating up.
Investigators believe they have it solved.
44-year-old John Weeks{}is now charged with murdering a Jay woman.
She disappeared in June 1996.
The suspect is from Arkansas{}and faces a 1st degree murder charge{}in Delaware County.
He's accused of killing Barbara Johnson-Willard.
Her burned-out car{}was found in a ravine and detectives say Willard's blood was found in the car.
While the victim's body has never been found.
Her sister-in-law{}hopes the family{}can now put the crime{}behind them.
"We're happy with all these years of not knowing anything,"{}said Sherry Johnson, victim's sister-in-law as she broke down in tears. "It's been hard. Not knowing where she's at, what happened to her, but we're really glad that maybe we have some sort of closure now. I just hope we can find her."
The OSBI{}says fingerprints and DNA{}led them to Weeks.
He's now serving time in an Arkansas prison{}for sex crimes.
