Doves Released in Honor of Tulsa Cancer Survivors

The lives of dozens of cancer survivors in the Tulsa-area was celebrated with a dove release Friday morning.

The annual event honors the lives and five-year treatment milestones of more than 150 cancer survivors at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

Along with the release of white doves, there was also a tree planting ceremony and "Hope Rounds," during which survivors and caregivers visit and support those currently undergoing treatment at CTCA.
