New Hispanic Radio Station On The Air
Dozens of city and community leaders gather Friday morning to celebrate the launch of Tulsa's newest Hispanic radio station.
1380AM Radio Las Americas officially went on the air at 9:45 AM from its studio at 2nd and S. Peoria.
The owner is Antonio Perez, who also owns four grocery stores and is president of the Teletul Media Group.
1380AM Radio Las Americas will air newscasts twice a day at 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
The radio station will also feature popular music geared to local Hispanic listeners.
The station is powered by a transmitter in Sperry.
