Tulsa — William is a kid with plenty of dreams and goals. When Keith asked him what he’d like to do when he got older, he replied, “I would like to help make simulators!”
This was perfect for the occasion. Keith and William spent hours at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. The TASM captures the history of aviation as well as the imagination of flight enthusiasts.
One of the exhibits on display is the F-14 Tomcat. For over 30 years this was the “bad boy fighter” for the US Navy. At over twice the speed of sound it was an awesome spectacle and thrill for William to take in. He told Keith, “I’m having fun finding out about one of my favorite things and science and all that.”
The 14-year-old just started the ninth grade this past August and loves the challenge, “I like that it has challenges to it. Like Math. I’m not really good at math, but it’s still helpful.”
When William needs to relax from the challenges of life he has a great place to go. “I like to go outside and go for walks and stuff. I like to play with animals. I would really love to have a cat!”
He would also like a family that has animals. Perhaps a brother and a sister around his age. But also, a family that would allow him some alone time.
