Broken Arrow Public Schools giving out free supplies to Native American students
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (KTUL) —
Broken Arrow Public Schools is giving out free supplies at the district's annual Johnson-O'Malley (JOM) school supply distribution event on Monday.
BAPS has one of the largest Native American student populations in Oklahoma with more than 2,000 students enrolled in the JOM program.
To enroll in the JOM program, parents or guardians must submit a copy of the student's Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) or a tribal membership card.
The event will start at 4:30 p.m. at the Broken Arrow Options Academy at 412 South 9th Street.
