OHP: Stillwater man killed in Payne County rollover crash

Officials say two people are dead after a rollover crash in Payne County.

According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 50-year-old Wayne Prebehalla of Stillwater was driving westbound on SH33 about six miles west of Perkins. At around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 6, Perkins' vehicle left the roadway, crossed back over the center line and left the other side of the road. Perkins reportedly over-corrected again, became airborne and again left the roadway.

The vehicle then rolled approximately two times, ejecting Prebehalla and his passenger 58-year-old Herlinda Berg.

Berg was transported to OU Medial Center in Norman and admitted in critical but stable condition. Prebehalla was also taken to OU Med in Norman and admitted in critical condition.

OHP reported on Thursday that Prebehalla died at the hospital.

The cause of that crash is still under investigation.
