3rd suspect in 2017 murder now in Tulsa County Jail
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
A third person suspected of being involved in a north Tulsa murder last year is now in the Tulsa County Jail.
Robert Cowan, 18, faces several complaints in connection with the September 2017 death of 38-year-old Walter Hogan, who was shot and killed after a fight broke out at Haney's Super Stop near 36th Street North and Peoria. A woman was also shot and sent to the hospital in critical condition, but she later recovered.
Police later issued murder warrants for Cowan and two other people, 20-year-old Bryin Willis Jr. and 20-year-old Breaunna Bell. All three are now in custody.
Willis was allegedly the one who shot Hogan, according to police.
