Search continues after four escape through ventilation system at Lincoln County Jail

Pottawatomie County Sheriffs believe they have 2 jail escapees, Trey Glenn Goodnight,27 (right) and Jeremy Tyson Irvin,31 (left) surrounded in Dale, Oklahoma.

UPDATE: Several of the inmates have been captured.

Authorities are on the hunt for four men who escaped from the Lincoln County Jail.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department reports that between the hours of 1 and 4 a.m. June 12 the four men escaped the jail through the ventilation system of the Chandler facility.

The missing inmates include 31-year-old Jeremy Tyson Irvin, 27-year-old Trey Glenn Goodnight, 41-year-old Sonny Baker and 23-year-old Brian Allen Moody.

Lincoln County Sheriff Charlie Dougherty said the inmates were in two different pods at the jail. They were able to access an area between the ceiling and the wall and jump over to the air vent. This is the same way Moody and Baker escaped in March. Dougherty says he has met with Lincoln County Commissioners about getting a contractor to seal the route off.

Authorities are searching for two vehicles in connection to the escape. It is believed the inmates stole a nearby 2001 white Dodge Q-15 truck with the Oklahoma tag ARU601. At approximately 7:40 a.m. authorities received information that Irvin and Goodnight were in the Shawnee-area in a stolen, red over silver Dodge pickup with the Oklahoma tag AHF257.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office reports that the white Dodge pickup was spotted by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Monday afternoon. The trooper attempted to stop the vehicle and a pursuit began. The vehicle stopped just south of State Highway 9 along State Highway 102 and was left on the side of the road. Several people were spotted running from the vehicle. Authorities shut down SH 102 near the intersection for several hours as they searched the area.

Irvin was jailed on a first degree murder charge while the three other men are charged with property crimes. Irvin is accused of shooting and killing Robert Godwin Jr. July 2016 near Stroud. He was arrested in September following a nine-hour standoff. Irvin is from the Agra-area. He is 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs around 102 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Moody and Baker escaped the jail in the same manner on March 16. They were captured six days later. Moody is from the southwest portion of Lincoln County. Police describe him a 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighing around 102 pounds. He has blonde hair and hazel eyes. Baker is described as 5-feet, 8-inches and 145 pounds. He is also from southwest Lincoln County. Baker has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Goodnight is from the Shawnee-area. He is described as 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighing 145 pounds. He has blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Dougherty believes that three of the four men are dangerous people with nothing to lose.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
