Allegiant announces nonstop flight from Tulsa to Destin (KTUL)

Allegiant announced a nonstop flight from Tulsa to Destin, Fla. on Tuesday beginning June 6.

The company is offering prices on the new flight as low as &59 each way, not including baggage fees.

“We’re very excited to announce this brand-new service from Tulsa,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “We’re sure area travelers will take advantage of our friendly, nonstop, ultra-low-cost service to enjoy all that the Emerald Coast has to offer.”

The new seasonal route to the Florida Panhandle will fly out twice a week.

“We are excited to welcome new nonstop service on Allegiant to Destin,” said Alexis Higgins, interim CEO for Tulsa International Airport. “The Emerald Coast is a generational destination for Tulsa area residents who enjoy the region’s beautiful beaches and friendly hospitality.”

With the addition of the flight to Destin, Allegiant will now serve five cities from Tulsa International Airport.

“Allegiant continues to add new direct and seasonal flights to Tulsa International Airport, giving Tulsa residents and the surrounding area more options when traveling,” said Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum. “Destin is an extremely popular tourist destination and this new service will be a great benefit to travelers.”
