TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) – Officers have identified the man shot and killed Thursday morning in north Tulsa.
He was James Kinnard, 59.
Investigators learned Kinnard and the suspect got into an argument. Kinnard was doing construction work on the house near North Kenosha and East 53rd Street North at the time. During the confrontation, the suspect fired a shot into the house.
Kinnard was hit in the chest.
His son witnessed the shooting and called 911 for help.
Detectives say they have several strong leads in the case and anticipate a development in the near future.
