Police: Man points weapon at customers during Walgreens robbery

Early Thursday, officers responded to an armed robbery at the Walgreens near East 31st Street and South Garnett Road.

According to police, a black male entered the store demanding money from the register. The clerk cooperated, then the suspect left out the front doors while pointing a weapon at some customers. No one was injured.

The suspect was seen getting into a dark-colored sedan leaving westbound on East 31st Street, police say. He is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, wearing a white bandana, purple shirt and dark jeans armed with a silver weapon.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
