Police: Armed robbery at south Tulsa store (KTUL)

Tulsa Police responded to an armed robbery that occurred around 2:30 p.m. at Super Tops & Bottoms, a clothing store, near South Peoria Avenue and Interstate 44.

The store clerk advised a black male with a black hooded coat, blue stocking cap and a white tee shirt covering his face to leave after he walked into the store, according to police.

The suspect approached the clerk, with a pulled out shotgun and demanded the money from the register, police say. There was a loss of cash from the register, according to police.

The suspect fled the scene and ran north, then to the east from the store.

Police are still searching for the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6-feet to 6-feet 2-inches, 160 to 175 pounds, blue stocking cap, white tee shirt covering the face, black puffy winter coat with hood and black pants.

This is a developing story.
