TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The Owasso Police Department is seeking at least two people who they say broke into an ATM early Thursday morning with a stolen truck.
When officers arrived at the Western Sun Credit Union, they found an ATM that had been broken into.
After reviewing the credit union's surveillance video, police said they found a truck with tow straps that had been used abandoned down the road behind an Arby's. Police found and returned the truck to the owners.
Lieutenant Nick Boatman said the suspects stole 'an undisclosed amount' of money, and had fled the scene before police were even called by the alarm company.
Investigators say some of the details of this crime match to other ATM thefts in the area over the last month.
