Authorities are responding to a reports of a plane crash Wednesday in Canadian County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a call went out at 5:13 of a plane crash near the intersection of Manning Road and Memorial Road.

An OHP trooper reports that one person died in the plane crash, that person is believed to be the pilot.


According to officials, the plane, a crop duster, was spraying weed killer when the pilot hit a cell or t.v. tower.

Fuel from the plane caused a fire that fire crews put out.
