A man has been arrested for murder in connection with a woman who went missing last month in Broken Arrow.

Lauren Kidd, 21, was reported missing to the Broken Arrow Police Department on Tuesday Oct. 30 after she hadn't been seen since Oct. 27.

Police say she was last seen with her ex-boyfriend, 22-year-old Konner James Brunner.

Officers say Kidd was supposed to go to a Halloween party with her family on the day of her disappearance, but she never showed up or called.

On Friday Nov. 2, detectives brought Brunner in for questioning and said they found inconsistencies in statements he made regarding the whereabouts of Kidd.

Broken Arrow homicide detectives say they were able to determine Lauren Kidd was shot inside Brunner's vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Broken Arrow, and her body was dumped in a recycling bin.

Investigators say they have yet to locate Lauren's body, but did recover a weapon and other pieces of evidence from Brunner's home.

Brunner was arrested on complaints of first degree murder and desecration of a human corpse.

The Broken Arrow Police Department says the investigation into what happened to Kidd remains ongoing.
