OG&E: Power restored to Bristow, Sapulpa areas after outages
BRISTOW, Okla. (KTUL) —
UPDATE 10:45 a.m.: OG&E says power has been restored to all customers in the Bristow and Sapulpa areas. A spokeswoman says a squirrel got into a substation and caused the Bristow outage. A cause has not been released for the Sapulpa outage.
OG&E is reporting that more than 1,500 people are without power in Bristow, including the city's police department.
The outage was first reported just before 8:15 a.m., according to OG&E.
It's not clear when power is expected to be restored or what might have caused the outage.
More than 1,100 OG&E customers are also without power in the Sapulpa and Kiefer areas.
