Broken Arrow police identify suspect, victim in deadly 5-car vehicle crash
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (KTUL) —
The Broken Arrow Police Department has identified the man who caused a deadly five-vehicle accident and the woman he killed near 145th East Avenue and West Albany Monday night.
Officers say they responded to the injury accident in Tulsa County and found 59-year-old Isiah Eugene Keys, Jr. He had slurred speech, bloodshot, watery eyes and was unsteady on his feet.
Keys was driving his vehicle, when he hit another car traveling in the opposite direction. The driver of the vehicle, 71-year-old Vivian Louise McGuire, Keys hit head-on died in the collision. Neither cars had passengers.
Three other vehicles had minor collisions as a result of Keys crossing into oncoming traffic.
Keys was arrested for suspicion of a DUI. He was taken to Hillcrest South Hospital for blood tests.
Officers booked Keys into the Broken Arrow City Jail, but later transported him to the Tulsa County Jail. He's facing charges of driving under the influence of drugs and first degree manslaughter.
