TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Firefighters are on scene after a car crashed into an apartment in midtown.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Skelly near I-44 and Lewis. Firefighters say the driver was traveling westbound on the highway when the car struck an SUV. The car then went off the highway and drove through a median before hitting the apartment complex.
The car caught fire after the crash, but firefighters say a bystander used a fire extinguisher to help put the fire out. The bystander then pulled the car away from the building, preventing any further damage to the property.
No one was injured in the crash. The driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene to talk to first-responders.
