He came walking down the driveway with a toddler in his arms and fury in his heart.

"Do you live in the house?" we asked. We don't know who he was, but he was clearly unhappy that we were shooting the crime scene. He remained silent as he tried to block our lens and periodically directed an obscene gesture toward us.

"They walked up to the residence to go inside. They observed a broken window and three black males inside," said Catoosa Police Officer Brent Colbert.

That, say police, is what two people who were visiting the residence discovered when they arrived. The perpetrators came out with guns and forced the man and woman inside.

"They were definitely tied up and then they were tied up while they were ransacking the residence," said Colbert.

"Did you know the people who broke in?" we asked the man, who declined to reply.

Once the thieves left, the man and woman were able to untie themselves and call for help.

"Two homeowners were arrested at this time for the drugs that were located inside the residence," said Colbert.

"Police say they arrested the homeowner and the son, any comment on that, sir?" the man declined to answer.

"Approximately three to four months ago, we had something similar out at this residence where somebody tried to kick the back door in," said Colbert.

"The police say this isn’t the first time they’ve been out. Is there any comment on that?" we asked. The man declined to comment.

A chaotic scene in Catoosa: drugs, guns and silence.

Police say the three black males fled in the vehicle belonging to the two people who came to visit the residence. It's described at a 2003 Honda with license plate HYE 329.
