Christmas parades canceled across Green Country after winter storm chances increase (KTUL)

Multiple cities across Green Country are canceling their Christmas parades on Saturday, Dec. 8 due to the National Weather Service issuing a Winter Storm Watch for northeast Oklahoma.

Sands Springs Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday that they were canceling Friday's parade.

The Tulsa Christmas Parade was postponed to the following Saturday, Dec. 15.

Collinsville Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday that they were canceling their parade as well.

Catoosa Chamber of Commerce announced that their parade is postponed until next Saturday, Dec. 15.

Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce said they will have their parade on Dec. 8 as planned. It is NOT canceled.

Mannford Chamber of Commerce has decided to postpone their parade for Saturday, Dec. 15 at 11 a.m.

The Freedom Fund Banquet set for Saturday has been canceled.

Claremore Chamber of Commerce has decided to still go on with their parade Friday night at 7 p.m.

The Tahlequah Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled their Friday parade to Monday, Dec. 10.

Main Street Muskogee has decided to postpone their parade until Dec. 15.
