Transformation Church is becoming one of the most popular churches in Tulsa.

It's a congregation that is so connected in the community that it's bringing in new faces every Sunday.

"I want to have a different experience, meet new people and enjoy the great atmosphere," said Tyler McClain who is new to the church. "This church is not based on a feeling, it's based on having determination, to love yourself and becoming strong as one."

It's that same determination that brought this church to a new spot in Bixby.

The church was in need of more space at Pine and Union.

At times, they were having four to five services.

Paster Michael Todd announced the church bought the Spirit Bank Event Center for their new location.

On Saturday, they celebrated a ribbon cutting.

On Sunday, they celebrated six months in the new location and five years with Pastor Todd.

"We needed a space and this has been the answer to a prayer," said Chris Harvey, social media director for Transformation Church. "We see people from our city and all around the world being able to come to this space and feel like they're at home, it's just special."

The new building has a 35,000 square foot arena and despite this, the congregation continues to overflow.

Even with a 900 space parking garage, it's packed nearly every Sunday.

Some folks are having to find other places to park, while being mindful of the surrounding businesses.

"It's really just parking where you can," said churchgoer, Lisa Alexander. "Today I parked across the street on Memorial. It's because we're growing and that's a good thing."

Something that's not going unnoticed by the church.

"It's all about progression," said Harvey. "We have to find the best parking situation for people and we're figuring things out together. We're working with the businesses and we want the best outcome to happen."
