Couples say "I Do" at annual St. Patrick's Day celebration
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Dozens of couples said "I Do" at the 62nd annual St. Patrick's Day celebration.
Tulsa Judge James Caputo stood on stage and married 42 couples right in the heart of the Blue Dome District.
Judge Caputo has held mass weddings like this in the past and St. Patrick's Day was no different.
One couple tells Tulsa's Channel 8 that they chose to have their wedding with a bunch of strangers because it was cheap and a way to celebrate their heritage.
"I was a little worried that he would have too much to drink before the ceremony, but we are good, we are good. I loved the ceremony, it couldn't have been better," said newlyweds, David Colson and Lynn Bonacci.
If you see any of the newlyweds, be sure to say congratulations.
