TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Tulsa crews responded to an accident on the Broken Arrow Expressway near Mingo involving multiple vehicles on Saturday.
TPD says three vehicles were involved, one of which caught fire after the collision.
Officers said all three drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
After investigating, police found out Chad Wilhite was driving about 100 mph and hit the back end of another westbound car. Either one or both of the out of control, spinning vehicles hit the third car.
Wilhite admitted to officers that he drank "a half pint of Fireball" before the accident.
Wilhite was arrested for a DUI and speeding too fast for conditions.
