Downtown Tulsa Federal Credit Union robber waited for police to arrive
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Police responded to a bank robbery at Tulsa Federal Credit Union near East 4th Street and South Elgin Avenue Thursday morning.
Officers arrived around 10:45 a.m. and discovered the suspect, Joseph Mitchell, sitting on the east side of the business in front of the door.
TPD said Mitchell was taken in for questioning.
He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for Robbery with a Firearm/Dangerous Weapon.
No one was injured.
Police say Mitchell was homeless.
