The Oklahoma Department of Safety reports that they have identified a growing number of "outside protest groups" at the teacher's rally at the Capitol.

DPS reported April 4 that they are closely monitoring the situation and that the groups have been known to show "violent behavior during non-violent rallies".

Threats have also reportedly been made towards members of the Legislature and the Governor. Authorities are monitoring the situation "for the safety of educators, elected officials and others at the Capitol".

Despite the report, authorities have not released any specifics on what led them to the conclusion. Tens of thousands have protested at the Capitol during the three day walkout that is likely to continue at least through the end of the week.
