TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Oklahoma highway patrol officers are investigating a crash that happened outside Tahlequah Wednesday evening.
Patrol officers said 38-year-old Christina Adair was heading northbound on OK-10 when she failed to negotiate a left curve.
The vehicle then departed the roadway to the right then went through a fence before crashing into a tree.
Troopers the cause of the crash was due to Adair driving while under the influence. Officers said the driver's ability was impaired due to drinking.
The passenger, 36-year-old Randall Sixkiller was life flighted to St. John's in Tulsa. Sixkiller was admitted in fair condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
Adair refused treatment at the scene.
