Emergency responders revive man after north Tulsa RV catches fire

Emergency responders immediately started using life-saving techniques, bringing the man back to life with a pulse. (KTUL)

The Tulsa Fire Department is investigating an RV fire near North Mingo Road and North 100th East Avenue.

Firefighters say they found a man unconscious and without a pulse inside the burning mobile home at Mingo RV Park.

Emergency responders used life-saving techniques, and after a few minutes were able to revive the man. He was taken to Hillcrest Hospital. His condtion is unknown at this time.

Firefighters say the man was unconscious as he was transported to the hospital, but he was breathing on his own. They are not sure if he was burned or suffered from smoke inhalation.

They say the man was the only person inside the RV at the time of the fire.

The Tulsa Fire Chief says they believe the fire started in the kitchen. The fire has been extinguished.

TFD is not sure if there was a functional smoke alarm inside the home.
