Ex-Broken Arrow teacher accused of molestation due in court for preliminary hearing
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) -- A former Broken Arrow teacher accused of inappropriately touching students in the classroom is due in court Monday.
Edward Hodge is scheduled for a preliminary hearing. The judge will determine if prosecutors have enough evidence to move forward with a trial.
Hodge is charged with four counts of lewd molestation. Police say students told investigators the former fifth-grade teacher would require hugs when they entered the classroom and would sometimes touch their legs and rear ends.
Hodge taught at Aspen Creek Elementary School until he resigned amid the investigation.
Hodge has pleaded not guilty.
