UPDATE: No injuries were reported after a fire near the Pier 51 marina on Keystone Lake in Sand Springs Sunday night.

Firefighters told Channel 8 it started in a houseboat, then spread until at least seven boats were destroyed.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, several people were trapped on the dock when the fire started but they were able to get to safety before firefighters arrived. Keystone Fire Chief Chris Blackburn said it took teamwork to salvage what they could.

"The directors here at the pier have some work barges and they actually had a pontoon boat that they were pulling them out with," Blackburn said. "So they were using some of their resources and we were kind of cooling them off for them and that allowed them to be able to get to them and pull them out."
