TFD: Dog dies in north Tulsa house fire

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The Tulsa Fire Department and emergency crews responded to a house fire in north Tulsa near East Latimer Street and North Yale Avenue around 5 a.m.

Firefighters say one person and one dog were inside at the time. The person made it out safely, but the dog did not.

Crews believe the fire may have started just outside the house. They say it was a very aggressive fire.

The Red Cross is now helping the homeowner find somewhere to stay.
