TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — First responders in the Tulsa metro area weighed in for the "Fit For Duty. Fit For Life Challenge" Saturday.
The competition space is limited to the first 400 active first responders.
The challenge starts Monday and is open to police, firefighters, EMS personnel, and military.
Their final weigh in will be November 8th.
Awards will be given for the best overall transformation, one for men and another for women, as well as a top prize for the most fit.
“Coach JC’s Fit First Responders program is transforming Oklahoma’s police officers, firefighters, and EMT’s to be Fit For Duty and Fit For Life. I am proud of this Oklahoma program that is supporting our public safety professionals who are on the front lines of protecting our communities," said Governor Stitt.
