Walkout Resources: Food distribution locations for students during walkout

COMMUNITY GUIDE TO RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY OKLAHOMA PUBLIC SCHOOL CLOSURES. The information is provided as a community guide to find food, childcare and other resources during Oklahoma School Closures. (KTUL)

Throughout the duration of the walkout, beginning April 2, many schools and community outreach programs will be offering food options for students. The meals will help students who will not have access to breakfast and lunch during the school closure.

Tulsa Area United Way offers a list of food distribution locations and childcare resources for the walkout in multiple counties. They serve Tulsa, Creek, Wagoner, Osage, Rogers and Okmulgee Counties.

If your county or school district is not listed, please contact administration or check school sites, Facebook pages or their Twitter feed for local resources during the walkout. Area churches and community centers are always a good resource for food distribution information as well.
