Former President Donald Trump officially endorsed Markwayne Mullin for US Senate.

Mullin posted the endorsement letter on his Facebook page.

"I won Oklahoma twice, by record margins, and Markwayne will be doing the same thing for many years to come," Trump said in the letter.

Mullin is heading into a runoff election against T.W. Shannon on August 23. The two seek to fill Senator Jim Inhofe's seat.

"Markwayne Mullin is an America First Warrior, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement," Trump said.
