Fort Gibson man accused of shoving elderly man, assaulting EMT, threatening deputy
MUSKOGEE, Okla. (KTUL) -- A Fort Gibson man is facing charges for assault and battery and making violent threats against multiple people.
Deputies arrested Thomas Tyer, 30, July 3 in Muskogee. According to court documents, Tyler shoved an 86-year-old man to the ground, causing him to hit his eye on a door knob and injure his arm.
Tyer is also accused of slapping an EMT in the face, exposing his genitals, threatening to shoot a woman and burn her house down while she's inside and threatening to slit a deputy's throat and kill his family.
Tyler is charged with two counts of assault and battery, two counts of threatening violence and one count of indecent exposure.
