TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Every year, Tulsa will celebrate Earth Month in April with The Great Tulsa Clean-Up.
The event takes place during the entire month of April.
City of Tulsa staff selected 29 different locations across Tulsa to clean, but encourage recommendations for other locations.
For people interested, they can register their group online.
During registration, people can choose the day, time, and location that they would like to clean.
Volunteers will also receive a free T-shirt.
Those who already registered are recommended to bring close-toed shoes, clothes that can get dirty, light snacks, and water.
Groups may request supplies, such as vests, trash grabbers, trash bags, and disposable latex gloves, by emailing Storm Water Quality.
