How you can donate and help families of Tulsa officers shot in the line of duty

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) – Folks can make financial contributions to help the families of the two Tulsa police officers who were shot in the line of duty this week.

Mayor G.T. Bynum on Wednesday said all money donated to the Tulsa Fraternal Order of Police Benevolence Fund will go to help these two families. The donations can be made through the Tulsa Community Foundation.

Sgt. Craig Johnson, a 15-year veteran of the department, died Tuesday from his wounds.

Officer Aurash Zarkeshan is still fighting for his life.

Both officers were shot multiple times after a traffic stop early Monday morning at 21st near Interstate 44, police said.
