Man, 2 teens arrested after 82-year-old deaf man violently beaten in Creek Co. break-in
SLICK, Okla. (KTUL) —
The Creek County Sheriff's Office says three people are in custody in connection with a violent home invasion.
It happened around 1 a.m. Thursday off Columbia Avenue in the small town of Slick. Deputies say three people broke into the home and violently beat an 82-year-old man with a gun. The suspects then stole several items from the home and took off, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The victim, known as "Deaf Don" to members of the community, was taken to the hospital and is recovering.
The adult suspect has been identified as 19-year-old Colby Deeringwater of Bristow. The other two suspects are teenagers.
