Man beats father to death, Wagoner police say

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Wagoner Police Department arrested a man in connection to a homicide on May, 19.

Officers were called to a home around 6:30 a.m. in reference to two men fighting in the front yard.

Witnesses told police the fight was between a father and son in the front yard of a neighbor's home. The two men allegedly lived together in a nearby home.

Police found 73-year-old Donald Notarnicola dead in the front yard.

The suspect, Michael Notarnicola, left the scene before police arrived. Later, officers found him in his home.

He was arrested for domestic assault and battery, but police are working to get him charged for murder.
