Man in critical condition, woman in custody after stabbing in south Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
Police say a woman is in custody and a man is in the hospital after a stabbing in south Tulsa.
Officers responded around 5:50 a.m. to the Savanna Landing apartments for a possible domestic-related stabbing. Police say a man got into an argument with a woman in the apartment before the woman pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed him in the abdomen.
When police got there, the woman made a run for it and hid inside the complex. Officers spotted the woman trying to make a getaway in a vehicle, and she was taken into custody.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to police. The suspect, 25-year-old Erika Wildcat, faces a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon.
Dispatchers say the initial call indicated that the victim was Wildcat's father, but officers have not confirmed the initial report.
