UPDATE (Thursday, May 7, 2020): The Mayes County Sheriff's Office says the missing 2-year-old boy has been found and is safe.

MAYES COUNTY, Okla. (KTUL) - The Mayes County Sheriff's Office says they're searching for a missing child.

They say a 2-year-old Jesse Young went missing near Salina this morning around 11 a.m from a home north of the town of Salina.

He was last seen wearing a pull-up diaper and blue in color Croc style shoes

Multiple Mayes County units responded immediately, as well as units from the Salina Police Department, Locust Grove Police Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, GRDA Police, Disney Police Department, Salina Fire Department, Mesta Ambulance service, Disney Fire Department, Pryor Fire Department and the Mayes County Emergency Management Team.

The Mayes County Sheriff’s Office is not asking for the public’s assistance at the scene, but for the public to be vigilant and to call 918-825-3535 or 911 if they have any information.
