During the City of Tulsa's storm update on Monday, Mayor GT Bynum confirmed another person died following the storms from Sunday, June 18.

Bynum stated the person relied on a respirator, and when the power went out, they were unable to power their respirator.

"This instance is why its so important if you have a loved one who relied on medical eqiqment or a neighbor that relies on medical equipment and they don't have power please go check on their needs," he said.

During the presser, Bynum said the City has provided charging stations for people who need to charge their medical equipment.

The Medical Examiner's Office is now confirming two people died due to this past weekend's storms.

One in McCurtain County and the other in Creek County.

The City of Tulsa and the mayor continue urging people to check in on loved ones if they are without power and utilize the cooling and charging stations the City has provided.
