Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa is inviting members of the community to celebrate the opening of its new Hardesty Service Center Thursday.

The 23,250-square-foot facility sits right next to the Tandy YMCA off 51st and Yale.

The new building will allow the organization to help more people across the metro. Its goal is to deliver one million meals per year, tripling the number of meals delivered in the previous building.
