Metallica sets new attendance record at BOK Center
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) —
The BOK Center said they had a historic night and hit a huge milestone as it set a new single-concert attendance record.
They welcomed 19,228 Metallica fans to Friday night's sold-out concert making the show the highest attended in BOK Center's ten year history.
Metallica’s performance was the ninth show in BOK Center's 10-year anniversary "10 for 10" concert series.
“Metallica’s record-breaking performance at BOK Center is a testament to their legacy,” said General Manager Casey Sparks. “Over the last 10 years, Tulsa has enjoyed plenty of massive events, but Metallica fans win the trophy for the highest attended concert ever at BOK Center. We want to extend a huge thanks to Metallica, Q-Prime Management, Artist Group International, NS2, Live Nation and Frank Productions. You made thousands of die-hard fans lose their minds tonight.”
