CRAIG COUNTY, Okla. (KTUL) —
A man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for a deadly 2016 crash in Craig County.
Darris Parker, 30, drove into the path of an oncoming semi on Highway 82 on Jan. 15, 2016. The passenger in Parker's vehicle, Stacy Love, was killed in the ensuing crash, according to the District Attorney's Office.
Investigators say Parker was high on methamphetamine and marijuana at the time of the crash. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Five years of Parker's 20-year sentence will be suspended, the DA's Office says. He will have to serve 85 percent of his sentence before he's eligible for parole.
