Michael Bever will spend the rest of his life in prison. A judge on Thursday sentenced Bever for killing his parents and three siblings in 2015 and brutally attacking a sister who survived.

The judge handed down five life terms, estimated at 45 years, each to run consecutively, plus an additional 28 years for the assault. A jury recommended five life sentences with the possibility of parole for the murder sentences.

Bever will have to serve 85 percent of his more than 200-year sentence before being eligible for parole, meaning he'll likely die behind bars.
