Multiple fire departments respond to recycling plant fire in Catoosa

CATOOSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Almost half a dozen fire departments responded to a fire at CMC Recycling in Catoosa Friday morning.

Firefighters say the fire started around 3 a.m. and burned for a couple hours.

Officials say at least $3-4 million of equipment was destroyed.

No one was injured in the fire.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
