Murder warrant issued for suspect in deadly June shooting
TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) -- An arrest warrant for the suspect in a June homicide was issued Thursday.
Police say 27-year-old Marcus Boyd is wanted for first-degree murder in connection with the June 28 shooting of 17-year-old Daniel Carter.
Carter was sitting in the passenger seat of a friend's car near Virgin and Madison when someone fired into the car, causing the driver to lose control and wreck. Carter died of his wounds, and a 16-year-old female sitting in the backseat was also shot.
According to homicide detectives, they recently uncovered a relationship between Boyd, also known as Showtime, and several others who were in the car with Carter.
Boyd is described as a black male, 6 feet 5 inches tall and 200 pounds.
