TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) - The Oklahoma Department of Corrections has unveiled a new online inmate search feature available to the public.
According to the DOC, the site’s new search feature allows the release of more accurate information for inmates sentenced to state prisons. It also offers comprehensive searches of all inmates by appearance, facility or sentence.
The project was completed by IT staff members from the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services at no additional cost.
“This is a safer, more effective system for the overall protection of the agency and the information of those in custody,” said Tanner Hughes, DOC IT strategist.
The site also allows users to search inmates by conviction date, court, CRF number, term codes, statute and statute codes.
