OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — The snow storm that was anticipated earlier this week had ODOT and Turnpike crews stepping up their game to stay ahead of anything that might come through the state.
The storm changed its course, however.
The southern part of the state did see some freezing rain and ice did form on bridges and overpasses. ODOT will be monitoring for slick spots due to refreezing tonight in Garvin, Cleveland, Pottawatomie, McClain, Seminole and Pontotoc County.
Crews in south and southeast Oklahoma City ate monitoring conditions and addressing any slick spot on bridges, highways and interstates as needed.
