MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Okla. (KTUL) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash on Highway 64 at South 20th Street in Muskogee County.
Troopers say the driver of a 2005 Chevy Impala was driving southbound on Highway 64 when they ran off the road to the right and into an open drain. The car kept going and jumped over 20th Street for 157 feet. When the car landed, it rolled and flipped on its roof before rotating all the way around and catching fire.
Muskogee County EMS pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
OHP is working to determine the cause of the collision.
Troopers have not identified the driver at this time.
